Services under the National Health Fund
Non-public Health Care Institution – RODENTIS Specialist Dental Clinic also provides free medical care under the contract with the National Health Fund for general dental services.
Guaranteed benefits for dental treatment
Patients are entitled to:
- dental examination with instructions on how to take care of the oral cavity (once a year);
- medical check-ups (3 times a year);
- X-rays inside the mouth (2 times a year);
- treatment of caries;
- anesthesia for procedures;
- removal of teeth;
- treatment of lesions on the oral mucosa;
- removal of dental deposits from ½ of the dental arch;
- ordinary (closed) curettage;
- root canal (endodontic) treatment:
- ront teeth in adults,
- all teeth in children and pregnant and postpartum women.
- Prosthodontic treatment with
- removable partial denture if 5 – 8 teeth are missing in the dental arch, or if more than 8 teeth are missing in the dental arch (once every 5 years);
- complete denture if all teeth are missing in the maxilla or mandible (once every 5 years).
Note: people who have undergone surgical treatment for facial cancer are entitled to dentures without time limits.
- Free denture repair – once every 2 years.
Children and young adults up to the age of 18 are entitled to, among other things:
- Fissure sealant protection of fissures of sixth teeth (once until the age of 8);
- varnishing of all permanent teeth;
- dentin impregnation of deciduous teeth;
- caries treatment of deciduous and permanent teeth;
- cosmetic coverage of underdeveloped enamel in permanent teeth;
- treatment of periodontal disease;
- orthodontic treatment until the age of 12;
- light-cured composite fillings for incisors and canines in the maxilla and mandible.
Before a dental visit under the National Health Fund, patients are asked to prepare an INSURANCE DOCUMENT or PERSONAL ID card to check the validity of health insurance.
